I havent made a dedicated catch spot though and searching along the lines hasn't revealed wayward stems falling off. So I sent grass planks down the lines. Essentially the zipline is a railgun and it launches them. A catch basin is 100% necessary as the momentum will make it bounce all over at the destination.

The major limiting factor on their usage is angle of descent - the steeper the incline, the faster you move. If it isn't steep, expect a leisurely pace. Mar 2, 2023 · Yeah the rule I tend to use for ziplines is “when you think you’re high enough, add about 5 or 6 more sections of height.”. Ziplines really do need a fairly steep angle to get decent speed and clear obstacles. If your line is blocked you either aren’t tall enough or your landing area is in a bad spot. #7.
