Switched from the Mathews Vertix to a 80lb Hoyt VTM 34. Couldn’t be happier with the balance of the bow, overall speed, and groups so far. Just ordered a quivalizer to try something new this year. Primarily hunt spot and stalk in south central ND.

If we compare the compound bows; the featured differences are Hoyt has split limbs and hybrid cams; Mathews has solid limbs and a solo cam. I did not chrono either of them as there is plenty of info out there on where these bows come in speed wise. The consensus is that the Mathews is 3-5 fps faster than the Hoyt. Lift 33. Where do I start. The draw is light years better in my mind than the previous few years of Mathews with SW cams.
